Description
Colored Pencil Drawing over Watercolour on Paper.
I thought thisa nice picture too show in the last winter days - if you can call it a winter, there was no snow and only a few frosty days this season here in northern Germany.
Although I love vivid colours, the black-and-white theme intrigues me somehow, and I repeatedly come back to it in my work. Here, a white and a black unicorn are rearing in the snow, and it could be an agression as well as a sort of dance, who knows...
Drawing all the bushes and branches in the background took me an incredible long time, more than I needed for the two animals together, but I think it was worth it.
This drawing is one of my favourites - hope you like it, too.

I have to ask, because I struggle with coloring my pictures with pencil (or anything really), which did you do first, the background or the foreground?
